We’re looking for a client-facing data Data Analyst to join a multinational professional services consultancy. They are a worldwide business with offices around the globe. This role sits in their location intelligence business sitting within the property consulting team.

The team are 15 people and growing, they help clients with location intelligence, surveying consumers to find out about their attitudes and behaviours to their movement between locations and their propensity to spend.

They know exactly how they work, live and play, and they can show the impact on places, properties and developments. Their goal is to help businesses choose the correct locations and help them plan, design and develop to maximise the opportunity. They work with a range of data sets including survey data, they also look at demographics, spend, catchment data, mobile location data, social media and run focus groups.

Key responsibilities:

• Analysing data
• Delivering strategic recommendations to clients
• Managing projects and writing proposals

Here are some of the specific challenges they help clients solve:

• What wider consumer trends are shaping the industry and how should businesses adapt accordingly?
• Who are my visitors, what do they want from a location and how should we engage with them?
• What type of residential units shall we build based on the likely buyers/renters in the area?
• How are local workers engaging with the retail, F&B and leisure offers in the area and what do we need to do to capture their spend?
• What is the optimum location to build, or invest in, logistics hubs?
• What is the optimum mix of retail, F&B, leisure, office and residential in an area?

Skills

• 18 months experience + within analytis/business intelligence.
• Strong data analysis skills in Excel.
• Experience with data visualisation – PowerBI or Tableau.
• Experience using GIS software a bonus.
